I said in my player's topics that one of my main characters is Aya but i am still learning... this:

Aya is fast, very fast. Her graze frame start right at the 1st frame when she dashes. Her bullets and some of her movements (2C), skills (214B - fast, count as melee and graze the bullet) are annoying as hell. When the oponent is down, Aya can almost approaches her immediately and trolling the enemy again =3...

So that to make the game balanced, they have to reduce her damage to one of the lowest of the game O.o (or actually the lowest?) . You will have to extend your combo as musch as you can, especially when you fight someone with massive damage (Okuu dial A is 2K damage, and my best Aya combo is 2K damage... =.='') But don't be afraid yet, since she is fast, you can mix up many movements and skills to confuse your enemy, that is one hell of a training. But she is fun to play

about the grazing frame, i think i found this on hisouten wiki?
"As soon as you input 66 or 44 in the air she will immediately enter her graze frames without delay, a skill that few other characters have."
I didn't test what they said though O.o

Well, wiki can be a bit... unreliable and "funny" at times. Like, weird questionable info.

Aya is underpowered and underplayed these days. Proof: Refer to tenco for the numbers. Most of the good Aya players like Mahiru can still tell you the glory days, but mostly that is gone now. Now she's more of a crossup and defensive character. She doesn't have the right bullet cover to approach, and doesn't have any good chip strings. It's mostly about just pressuring your opponent safely until she makes a mistake. But other than that it's actually pretty hard to do much.. The only thing left from the glory days is her aerial melee set, which has possibly the fastest aerial normals in the game. jA j8A for the win?

I find Aya a properly A-Tier character...
She might be underpowered, but with the right hands, she's kinda overpowered.

She doesn't really have bullet cover, but I don't think she have it and need it to begin with.
She has the ability to keep her opponent unmoving...

As i said, Aya is fast, and if she has nice bullet cover, that would make the game imbalanced...

It's mostly about just pressuring your opponent safely until she makes a mistake.

Any characters, if you know how to do, when your oponent is forced to the corner, you can take from them "a little" amount of HP, the problem is how to corner them.
But Aya will took the player a long time to get skilled, let's just say that she is not recommended for new player?

Anyway, does anyone use alt 214B/C, ?? I think these alt skill cards dont get many attention or because they suck O.o?
